Went for a nice bike ride this morn

Then hit up Crooked Stave and my beer store

The kegs are Dales(6/17) and Deviant Dales(6/11) and the Pliney is 6/13. I really enjoy seeing y'all's cute little hauls pics.

You certainly nail down quantity.

Different strokes for different folks I reckon. Drinking the same shite every day just seems so fantastically boring to me. With so many beers to choose from I seldom buy the same beer twice, much less three cases of same brew.

I havent had any of Crooked Stave's premium wild ales and I'm not a big saison fan. I tried St. Bretta, Hop Savant and Vielle and none tripped my trigger. Need to try some of the others but the distro to FL from Crooked Stave is pretty weak.

lethargic still, vet said pulmonary edema probably associated with congestive heart failure. He's on some meds and the coughing at night stopped so I'm hoping for the best....But he's old and I know he can't live forever. I just don't want to end it too soon or keep him around if he's suffering just because I can't let go.

Yeah, my Basset is almost 11, and a lot closer to the end than the beginning.

The beauty of these wild ales is that they will evolve and change over time. Plus I know what I like and I've had most everything else. Chasing the next hot release is too much trouble.

My tastes change pretty steadily. I was on an IPA kick then switched to Stouts. Lately I've been steering toward Gose and Berlinners. I reckon the lighter beers go better in the Florida Summer..

Z - did you pick up one of those Sticky Hands?

NBD - RPM. I like this one a little better than 3 Way.

How the hell did you do that? You're the one who found it online...

BTW - the one you had was a different recipe from the one you saw online. The one online is their original recipe, which is fantastic.
