I think it is damn good. And I love the pint can format for IPAs.

You can just go to NM for work whenever you want?

That's funny. Never occurred to me that it would creep some people out.

No BD for me. I'm recovering from a chest cold and this cough is giving me a headache.

The kids wanted steak tonight, so I decided to do a reverse sear the same way that people who don't follow directions do it - with a thin steak. I figured I'd frick 'em up and then I wouldn't be all that upset that I don't have an appetite.

I got a couple of Strips that were between 1.25 and 1.5" thick.

Pulled 'em at 110 degrees.

Seared 'em and cut 'em open. Damn. I was hoping they would turn out bad...

Basically as often as I deam necessary to keep good relations with the ranchers whose lands we're doing oil and gas operations on.

I typically head out for a few days every 6-8 weeks.

NBD is a Hopsecutioner. No photo because I'm snuggled on the couch trying out my new Chromecast, which I am loving so far.

I can play anything from my Macbook/iPhone onto the TV and still use the them for other things! MInd blown.

Nice. What do you do? Just take them out to eat or something like that to keep the wheels greased?

Not even that. In fact, because of the serious drought the region has been in for years now, they make more money via damages payments and selling us fresh water for our operations than they could grazing cattle. As a result, several have actually fed me.

I just act as a go-between. Many times, oil companies get jobs done via contractors. In those cases, it can be tough for the companies to keep track of and control everything these contract workers do. So, I just help remediate things. Sometimes, that means paying money, or getting people to fix damaged cattle guards, and other times, it means just riding around and listening to them and doing my best to make sure inconveniences are kept to a minimum.

I enjoy the work and the relationships made with people.

Made a trip over to Birmingham over the Christmas break and found it @ Hop City. Think it was a pretty limited release, may still be some floating around. I'm headed to Atlanta this week or next, I'll inquire at a few shops and if I see any I'll grab you one.

So you have to go there every so often to keep relations good by letting them feed you green chile cheesburgers?

Damn...

Opened it last night. I liked it a lot. It has a similar dankness like enjoy by and the green tea is a nice combo.

I will seek it out.

Shutting it down here. The 3 day weekend has been nice. Back to work tomorrow.
