It's not even that I'm big -- y'all know me. But just outgrowing pants and I know taking care of it now is better than waiting until it is too late. Seeing my college spring break photos from only a short time ago doesn't help. I suppose I'll start up some sort of movement. And enjoy lighter-calorie summertime beers.

Of course you aren't, but you are wise to start thinking about it while you are young. The fact that you are talking about it now makes me think you will never let yourself get "big". As we age, our metabolism changes and you need to be ready for it. Small adjustments in your lifestyle and consumption will do the trick at your age.

Dude if you can get a few minutes away on Saturday, I hope you can stop by

Does Southern Prohibition have their IPA in Nola yet or is it still Rye Pow in the Kisser?

I have the same problem.... I have that inner fat boy gene that is hard to shake. I've been trying to cut back during the week some and started back running a few days a week after a long lay off.

That's a really good way of putting it

I've always been able to eat whatever I want and however much of it I want. A part of me thinks since I've changed my eating, it should make a difference. But if I go crazy with beer, I'm exceeding what MyFitnessPal tells me to do.

Get your fitness pal into craft beer and then they will understand.

FBD is a Hipster Breakfast

I have lost over 20 lbs since November, and I drank craft beer the whole way through.

NBD is another Hop Rising.

This is encouraging. Let me guess - you move around?

I have never truly exercised before (as in, more than one random day) so I am scared I can't commit.

FBD: Ghost

Actually started off with a blind taste test. Had a fourth of Ghost Batch 5 and Double Jack dated 3/30 each poured into a separate glass.

Liked the smell of Ghost more. It has a more danky, and also sweeter smell. I figured this was going to be the case.

As for the taste, couldn't tell which I liked more. I could easily tell which was which, though. Ghost had that sweet, smooth taste. Double Jack was not as sweet, and had more of a bite to it. I guess that'll happen when it's a 8% ABV vs 9.5%.

I honestly can't pick a favorite, as it would probably depend on my mood. Sometimes I want that smooth sweetness. Other times, I want a smooth DIPA like DJ that still has that kick at the end.

Conclusion: I win because I now have a Ghost in my hands and a 6 week old or so Double Jack to follow up with. Then, I'll have to swig a bit of Hop Delusion.

Parish Brewing also wins, for developing a world class beer, and so does Louisiana.

Damn. Sticky Hands won and it really wasn't even close. Even the aroma blew out ghost. Wow what a phenomenal beer.
Ghost came in 2nd. Ft said nose was better on ghost than sticky but sticky better overall.
Wise said nose and overall sticky wins.
Ninja vs unicorn frankly disappointed and came in a distant 3rd. Although a lot of hops on the backend it has a funk aroma and weak front.
