Eh, I'll disagree and throw in Deviant Dales before Gknight. But Ten Fidy is superb, no doubt.

Now that my order is complete, I'm trying to figure out how I will justify my $50 beer order with my $40 shipping cost to the wife. Oh well. Abrasive sounds worth it. YOLO

Is it on tap anywhere around BR yet? Or is it the same story for kegs as well?

Tap seems to be the biggest issue, according to Andrew.

Done drinking for the night, but BXN question:

I have a friend in San Fran who I've talked to about shipping me beers. However she is hesitant because she has tried shipping wine to family and has had trouble. What are some tips to getting around these shipping problems???

He told me he wasn't entirely happy with it, because it wasn't quite hoppy enough, but close enough to release. Mostly a dry hopping/aroma issue.

Really looking forward to getting a taste of Envie. With Envie, Farmhouse, and that IIPA ..Parish is building a solid lineup

Order one of these, ship it straight to your friend. It makes packing much easier and safer. I'd still add some peanuts or styrofoam inserts to keep bottle from moving too much.

Wine shipper

Then make a FedEx acct and print the label yourself. They don't ask questions if you print your own label. Just drop it off. That's it. (Eta: go to fedex store, they have a label holder so you can just print out on a regular piece of paper an put it in there)

I wrap a garbage bag around the styrofoam (but inside the box obviously) and duct tape it closed. That way if there is a break there I minimum leakage an te box makes it to you intact and not in a sloppy mess. That's how you get trouble b

Do not use USPS. It is a federal offense I believe.

Wrap up everything really well and stuff the box with packing material so its tight...cushion on all 4 sides. Box yourself and then take to fedex.

My wife and just shipped some wine back to our house in TX from SF a few weeks ago including one that was open and had a cork back in...everything arrived perfectly

that's fine, I'd prefer more hoppy.

The beer is great though. Such a nice hop oil mouthfeel to it. I'm not regretting getting a case.

My dad went through 4 of them at the crawfish boil (BC only 5 were cold)

I prefer G'Knight to Deviant Dales. Isn't it great to have all these great beers to drink?

I do too. One of the best in its style IMO.
