Gotcha
Loved trying that one last year. Thought I was going to make it to Zapp's but something came up and we're staying up here.

Speaking of the Zapp's beer fest. This will be my first year going...what should I expect and what do I need to try (outside of the obvious)?

2BD- Vanilla bean Buff Sweat

LBD - Meantime Coffee Porter; always keep one of these small bottles in the house. Coffee Porters might be my favorite style.
Three days of 3:00am have take their toll, tomorrow starts my Saturday and I get to sleep in with the wife.

I am not going to make it either, unfortunately.
TBD was another Hopitoulas at The Box. 4BD is an Abrasive back home. Tigers win 7-3.

Yes. The freshman, Reynolds, gave up 2 homers in the first 2 innings and we were down 0-3.

I agree. It is OK, but nothing special IMO.

yo Kim glad to see the Tigers win. just an alert for anybody that doesn't know, Yu Darvish has a perfect game going in the top of the 8th in Houston. on your local FSN channel.

Seems Milk stouts are catching on. Remember when left hand seemed to be the only one.

Next is a "Remember the Maine" rye whiskey cocktail while listening to a good friend play jazz.

Agree although it happens to be my favorite Saturday morning beer after a nice run for some reason. The vanilla bean version is a little sweet for me but I like it to change things up occasionally.

Thanks for heads up. Just switched over.

It is certainly a good beer.

I'll never forget Matt Cain's against them last year

Anyone had a Sink the Bismarck!?
Saw it at the Bulldog last week for over $100. Nver saw it for sale (really never looked) or wanted to try it other than curiosity.

What are you brewing?
The Simcoe pale ale/IPA. Loosely based on Russian River Row 2 Hill 56. Didn't have time to brew on the weekends, so I'm making time now.
TBD is a Southern Tier Oak Aged Back Burner barleywine courtesy of tetu sometime last summer. Very nice.
