Only thing I've found that's somewhat decent is Maggie's bottle and tail. The have a decent bottle selection, and once in a while have something good on tap for growler fills. The Piggly Wiggly up in Foley used to be pretty good, but last year it was lacking a little.

There's a Spec's in Houston…but check out Freetail Brewing…really good beers--average food but it's a fun spot.

Spec's is not just a Houston store. They have plenty in San antaco. Central Market, Gabriel's and HEB have good selections also.

Thanks. I've done Specs in Houston, but I know that one is much more highly thought of than the rest.

If you're going to the Original Freetail in north SA, stop by Gabriel's a couple exits down on 1604. They have one of the best selections in SA.

I like it. Not on the level of Dale's or Cardinal, but I find it very enjoyable and always available.

Weekend warrior would be the best pale ale in louisiana IMO.

Best you can buy in LA or best made in LA if a Louisiana brewery? I'd agree with the latter, but since LA now gets Dale's, not the former.

Envie is too inconsistent for me to compare anything to it. However when it's good its damn good.
Don't get me wrong I'll drink WW and it typically fills ice chest at the camp but I just don't think it's as great as people here make it out to be. I truly hope the new commotion is better.
