I agree. MR is up there with the best beers brewed in MS.

Have bottles of this hit BR yet?

I don't think so.

I really enjoyed it at the brewery last summer. I know I've seen it on tap a few places.

I had it on tap over the summer in Jackson and thought it was good. The bottles I had a few weeks ago were better than good. I'll see if I can get some more for us. I think I have somebody driving in from Jackson soon.

I got a BXN from NOLA today. 1 casualty, but it was kind of a half casualty. The cap was still on so I cooled it off and drank the rest.

Fbd was a St. Arnold BB6.

Nice Sangiovese and Cab before with dinner

yo Coat went to Babalu last night. Was okay, wish the beer selection was a little better. Any other recs. I see you post @ Pig & Pint is it solid?

F B D

Eh. Extreme mediocrity. Brewed by Back Forty for Oxford Brewing, so go figure I guess. Thank god for the 7% abv that gives it some heat and character otherwise it'd be a drain pour.

Pig and pint has a great beer selection and food is good too. Babalu's beer has been lacking recently--I've been sticking with velvet rooster lately. Their cocktails are money though. Love their table side guacamole and burger

Makes me question those St Arnolds bottles that are twist on.

Glad the rest of the troops made it.

I'd stay away from Oxford beers--semi-hopped bud light IMO

St Arnold's bottles leak pretty often. No idea why they use twist off.

Good to hear. Was on the fence but that endorsement pushes me over the edge. Will try soon.

Table side guac was pretty solid indeed, didn't even think about the burger may have to rock that next go. The tacos were alright but damn they were small. Guess that's part of the "tapas" experience.

go on tuesday's and all tacos are $2 all day/night. the best taco there is the pork belly (CARNE DE CERDO) hands down. also they have taco happy hour until 6:00 mon-fri where all tacos are $2. i'm a fan of babalu although it is quite a drive from reunion
