FBD - Surly Abrasive on the golf course...this is a great beer

Thanks to tigertown80

Yeah it's good shite, glad you enjoyed it. I haven't had a chance to post but had the Das Wunderkind and Uberkinds today really great beers while having the birthday party for the lil one.

SBD: Southern Star Pro Am

Never was too impressed, but I won't judge anything this old. Not too shabby considering its age though.

Yeah, I've seen a good bit of it the last couple of days. It doesn't seem to be moving as fast as past releases.

If I remember correctly, they brewed almost twice as much DR13 as they did for DR12.

It shouldn't be too hard to find, but you never know these days...

That's my favorite part about Pro-Am 2012(Valkyrie), it seems to keep a lot better than most DIPAs. It's not the best, but it's nice knowing you can let it sit for a while without ruining it.

I made the mistake of drinking a CCB Jai Alai after my Surly Abrasive today. I was pretty underwhelmed, but that may be because the Surly was just so damn good. I'll give it another shot later this week.

If you liked those two, I think you're really going to like Boxer's Revenge and El Cedro.

OBW (only beer of the week) - abita abbey ale. Not as bad as I thought it'd be. Kind of enjoying it, actually. Not in the same league as ommegang but it's tasty.

Just got off of work.. 46 hours in 4 nights. May as well set up a cot at my desk
