Boston lagers and heinekens by the pool this afternoon. Better beer should be had at dinner

Mrs. Eagle said she was tired of my glassware taking up her valuable wine rack space, so I acquired a pallet from the plant and made a display.

Nbd is a ranger ipa

My first time trying it. I know it has not gotten a lot of rave reviews here, and it may be the result of the subpar beers preceding it, but it thought it was really good

Thanks FT. I'm pleased and now need more growlers/glasses to fill it up

If you can't tell, I poured like an a-hole. Not my slowest, most painstaking pour

Sippin' on a Stone smoked vanilla bean porter. Anyone's Photobucket acting up? Mine won't upload for some reason.

Mine is working. I just haven't been drinking anything worth the effort.

Eta: I'll post my ranger

4BD was a Three Floyds BaskMasking during a BX with Icansee and bbrou. First time to try this one. Very nice.

I like it. If you saw my fridge earlier, I'm on an IPA kick. Get it while the hops are fresh. Honestly, in terms of double IPAs, this might be the best one I've tried from our region off the top of my head. That being said, I don't know how many double IPAs I've had from the southeast. It's definitely better than Mechahopzilla. I'm a huge homer for Southern Tier's 2XIPA (it's what made me like IPAs), so I'd love to taste it side-by-side with Snake Handler. I think Snake Handler would compare favorably. Strong beer.

ETA: Not as good as Abrasive or Enjoy By 12.13.13, which at this point for my exposure are my true benchmarks for outstanding doubles.

No doubt. Unfortunately while searching for new beers we sometimes forget old favorites that are still worthy, like Chimay Blue.
