Not my favorite style for sure, but I enjoy them.

FBD is a Prairie BOMB! courtesy of the BXN.

Fantastic. The coffee, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and chili peppers impart a whole lot of great flavor while maintaining a real focused balanced. The coffee is prominent in a good way. Incredibly drinkable for 13%. I'm guessing the spice is helping mask the booze. Nice, creamy mouthfeel. Really enjoying this one.

Prairie does some great work.

It has been a good weekend for beer. Nice fire going watching the Saints. Life is good.

Yes. That beer is very complex. I feared that the chili pepper might be prominent, but it was subtle.

I think the chili pepper is just right and is probably what helps it work so well.

Anyone can give some insight on this beer? Picked it up today on a whim.

I grabbed one of those probably 4 or 5 years ago... Back when Beauxregard used to do the Friday featured beer threads on the OT before there was a food and drink board. I remember it being good, but I was a maven in training back then.

Yes. Some further research could only help.
