Endeavor to persevere. You're right. Still, need to wind down for school tomorrow.

A single of Smuttynose Pumpkin to take me to bed.

Oh it's gooooooood. It's more pie-tasting than Pumking. It has more spices. I feel like Pumking tastes more like pumpkin and Smuttynose tastes more like pumpkin beer, if that makes any sense to you. I'm a fan of it. It's not my favorite pumpkin, but it's for sure a good one.

I told you this the other day, pumpkin beers are my thing. Look forward to them all year. Fall is the greatest (even though it's only August )

ETA: According to Beer Advocate the Cigar City Pumpkin is fantastic. Get one for me and I'll send you some stuff through my next care package from NC

I feel like I'm alone in my distaste for Pumpkin beers. Out of numerous tries, only one has ever satisfied me. It was Jackelope Brewing's pumpkin ale grom last year. Mellow on pumpkin with no pumpkin pie spice.

I get that, man. I'd say it and IPAs are probably the most polarizing brews off the top of my head. If you don't love it you're going to hate it because both have really pronounced flavors. It just so happens it's my thing. You're no less of a maven for disliking it; it's just not your thing.

Too late brother. I fly out at 655am tomorrow. I'll get my buddy to pick up 1 or 2 and fedex though maybe. It really is fantastic. Like wiltz pointed out yesterday.. if you take the pumpkin flavor from Southern Tier Pumking and the spiciness from St Arnold Pumpkinator, it's the perfect balance between the two.

You're the worst kind of tease! See what you can do. If it happens, awesome, we'll work out some great trades. if not, well, shite happens.

Hell YEAH.

My craft beer recruiter SO and I brewed a kick arse pumpkin porter last year. Will definitely be doing it again this year.
