Tracking says it was delivered! And my brother hasn't called or texted to tell me he got a leaky box so for now it's all good!!

ETA: Does it matter what part of Houston I stay in? My main objective for my weekend trip is beer. Downtown? Galleria? Somewhere else?

You could also check out Crescent Pie and Sausage Co. I have not been but have been meaning to make it over there. I've seen them advertise craft beer events in the past so I'm assuming they have a decent tap list.

I'd go with downtown then. Flying Saucer is right there and you're close to Specs. You can catch a cab to and from Hay Merchant, Liberty Station, and D&T Ice house. Petrol is a quick drive and so is Karbach if you want to do a tour. Saint Arnold's is right outside downtown as well. I'm sure I left some other stuff off...

The Galleria is a shithole when it comes to traffic...throw in the weekend before Christmas and I would avoid it like the plague.
