It looks like those beers will be released periodically as special releases. That might be for the best, because they tend to be shelf turds now.

FBD was The Boot. Thank you Abita for dedicating a beer to only your home state. Too bad it tastes like a national Abita beer. 2BD is a '13 BCBCS. Coffee still present, though I'm sure it's faded considerably. So good.

Well it's a shame if Wookey Jack and Double Jack were shelf turding down here, because those were about the best BIPA and DIPA one could buy off the shelves in Houston.

2BD while chopping onions for spaghetti.

Am I the only one who enjoys eating raw pieces of onion while cutting??

10/6 DH

Ok I didn't taste the 9/26 batch and I've got a slight cold so my taste buds are off. The appearance is similar to the 9/26 batch. The taste, I'm afraid, is probably similar as well based on what others said. I'm not getting the juiciness that I got in the 9/6 batch. Getting mild hops with biscuit background. I'll withhold official judgement until my cold symptoms are gone. Hope I'm wrong

Just got home from work and heading out for Mexican food soon. Rather than drink the Mexican lagers or BMC, I am gonna drink ritas.

3BD is my last of these.

Guess that means it'll be time for another business trip to New Mexico soon.

It is unbelievable. I've had cans several times and loved it. But this is a whole different level.

How's the In Perp? I'm trading for one tomorrow.
