I hate the end of the month. All the meds run out and those little shits lose their fricking minds. Thank God the first will be here soon

FBD is pretty disgusting and may get the drainpour

You've been stepping out for your hops more than usual. Is that because the tap selections are getting better, or your fridge selection is worse?

I step out for a beer a lot, as you know. I just think the beer is generally fresher, that way.

Was a little suck today. So I'll resort to tobacco and alcohol.

No dry hop, no care.

Seriously, most surprising beer I have had all year.

Fridge selection has sucked for a few weeks. I ordered a mixed box of stuff from France44 last week that arrived today, so things are looking up.

FBD is an Indeed Brewing Day Tripper PA. This is a nice one. The can describes it as West Coast inspired, but I am picking up malt notes that remind me of an English PA. Solid effort from Indeed Brewing and the first beer I've had from them.

Probably because of the Pope's visit here.

Seriously, the latest batch of Commotion is great.

I agree. Earlier batches did not do much for me, but I bet I've been through a case of the 8/26 batch.

Not a lot of pecan. If much at all. The tiniest hint of bourbon. Mostly just caramel malts and syrup. Really thin.

NBD is a Hop Hunter, not a lot of options today
