4BD: Caldera Pale

Got the Duke-Gonzaga game on, playing cornhole and cooking dinner with friends.

Yesterday was apparently not the right day to make a trip to Courtyard.

Just a few jabronis sharing a few beers.

Final tally is a Boneyard Hop Venom, Crux Half Hitch, Cinque de Zappa Dust, Peche 'n Brett, Brunch Money, and we sampled a few Courtyard beers as well. Peche 'n Brett was, IMO, the winner. The flavors were all present albeit subtle, but what sold me was how perfectly carbed it was. Perfectly effervescent across the tongue.

Yeezy gonna go tie one on now.

You would say that a Brett was

I'm hoping to be back at Courtyard Saturday evening. I'll be in a t-shirt. It will either be a shirt of some brewery or of some emo/hardcore band from the mid 2000s.

When it's good, it's good.

Finishing that Brunch Money behemoth now. I want something to assert itself. Just a battle of flavors. Not necessarily in a good way. On the baseball scale of beers shared amongst TD people, this was a fielder's choice.

I have yet to try that one.

3BD is a Yazoo Hop Project #82 courtesy of Coater. Pretty good, but a bit on the malty side for my tastes. Photobucket not working again.

Heading to dinner soon to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Checking out the beer menu online, it looks like I'll be drinking Timber Beast and Green Flash IPA on draft with some oysters.

Jones is like the duck whisperer. They were wanting to hang with him as soon as we went out back.

NBD-first time having this one. Surprisingly decent. A little bitter on the back end, but not bad for the price at 9.2 ABV
