OBD opus 2.0 I like it....a lot. First one I've had of the new batch. This porridge is just right for me. 6.5% IPA is my sweet spot

5BD: B52 Saison Hop

This is a really good beer. Would be kickass by the pool if they'd ever bottle/can. PAGING List Eater to pass that on.

Yea there isn't a ton of competition. You have Abita wrought iron, Nola hopitoulas, Urban holly roller, tin roof juke joint, second line ipa. Not sure if I'm missing any.

Parish could make batch one and 2 as 2 separate beers. I would buy both of them for sure. I may prefer batch one a little but both are really good.

I'm ready!

Next BD bc I've lost count: Brash Prestige

This is the first beer from these guys I've been disappointed in. Maybe it's just me, but the aftertaste is like a cigarette. The smell and initial taste is good.

FBD - pFriem Down Under IPA. Very solid seasonal beer by pFriem while picking up dinner.

Love shopping for dinner here. Pints are 4 bucks. They only have 5 beers on tap, but all it takes is 1 good one...

Well they're available with the fruits and barrel program stuff but you have to leave the Plantation and go to Conroe.

Prestige isn't my first choice either.

Anywho, BDs at Brash playing Saved by the Bell trivia are EZ, PW, Prestige. Cortado on deck.

Very nice. I'll be in Alaska in 3 weeks. Can't wait to chow down on some PNW seafood.

Salmon and halibut. I'm not that find of the PNW oysters, but the crab is excellent. Make sure to try some moose, if you can. Where are you going to be?

Regardless, try some beers from Midnight Sun and Anchorage Brewing beers.

I am. Although they are smaller, the kinds I've had (4-5) have some great flavor you don't get in the gulf.

I agree. A lot of breweries tinker with recipes, but they name it something different. I think this is the issue a lot of people were having in the big Opus thread. I am all for experimenting, but when you do it under the same beer name, it gets confusing.
