Anyone here have any insight on the Tallgrass hoppy offerings? 8-Bit PA and Top Rope IPA?

I enjoy their beers. unfortunately it looks like they've retired my favorite (velvet rooster). songbird is a solid saison and buffalo sweat is a good milk stout.

stay away from the grizz. malty as hell. 8bit and top rope are ok but won't blow your socks off.

How is the Pinedrops compared to Fresh Squeezed? I love the Fresh Squeezed.

I like Pinedrops a lot. I wish Deschutes would take the Pinedrops grain bill and hop it like Fresh Squeezed. Fresh Squeezed is a bit to dark and malty for my tastes, but the hops smell great.

My husband asked me to go golfing with him and promised me he would teach me. Then, once I finally agreed to go, we get out there and he says "I don't know what to tell you. Just hit it." Some teacher.

FBD is an 8 Bit. Not bad at all. Nice canned option, especially tall boy. Aggressive hop flavors, almost too much (gasp), but it lingers for sure. Must be from their "hop rocket", wtf is a hop rocket.

NBD is a Songbird saison. Very nice canned saison. Slightly tart, which I like. Good hop flavors too. All around tall grass is a welcomed addition.
