That is an awesome idea for testing herb flavors. I will have to give that a try.

I bought the french press last week for that reason. It's my new favorite toy. Been putting all sorts of stuff in there.

Kim, had a decent haul this morning. They were out of the Kentucky breakfast stout but I picked up some ky bourbon barrel ale, green flash wc ipa, Founders double trouble and pale ale, 3 Floyds black sun, among others. I could have spent all day at chuck's in bowling green. I will definitely be stopping on the way home. Their other location had the 3 Floyd's Dreadnaught.

Eta: just found some cent ipa and Dreadnaught while stopping to get directions

Life is good!

FBD here is a Bell's Two Hearted Ale.

It's magical. Last night I did a Green Flash WCIPA with an ounce of amarillo hops I had laying around. Earlier in the week I did an Anchor porter with coffee.

Pour beer in container. Add whatever you want. Let sit in the fridge for 30 minutes. Drink.

Add in some sort of aphrodisiatic (is that a word?) herb and get her to drink it. Win Win.

I used pellets as that's all I had. I imagine whole would be much better. I wish Brewstock wasn't closed today or I'd be over there getting some right now.

Had these the other night. Was 4 in before I realized they were 10% ABV...wondered why I was a little off.

Yeah, Hoptimum packs a punch.

4BD is a Sixpoint Righteous Ale. Very good.

I'll have to look for it.

btw, didn't you say you were in Colorado last week or something? Should have made it up to Littleton and gotten a taste of Grimm Brothers and toured the brewery. Pretty cool setup they have going and awesome idea for what could make it in BR.

SBD was a Parish Canebrake on tap at TJ Ribs with lunch. TBD back home is a SN Hoptimum.
