You think 8th Wonder is that bad?
Posted on 3/25/17 at 5:00 pm to LSUJuice
Consider the source. He's a fluffer for Brash and the Conroe breweries.

With the options on our shelves, I wouldn't buy it. That's just my opinion you like what you like. Watch steak come in and say something about brash.
ETA: lulz I called it.

Some of the worst Houston beers posted in the last few pics. Yikes.
More Cowbell is pretty meh. Just bitter hoppy and sweet--like Mecha.

8th Wonder is definitely not top 5 in Houston brewing scene
I would argue that Houston Haze by spindletap surpasses anything done by 8th wonder

BTW I did post yellow rose earlier. It's the gold standard but after having two already I'm saving the other two.
The Hopston is different but still enjoyable. The malt is balanced with bitter, which is what's important to me.

That's exactly what I was just saying!
It's definitely not on Whole Foods level.

I like what Hop Gusher has become. It started off too much like Hopston but has since improved.

1st time ive had the gusher... its not great. I do enjoy the 8th Wonder tho
And I picked up Yellow Rose this week... I really like it.... but amazing how different it is from a 3 week old bottle vs a day old tapped keg. YR falls off fast IMO
Speaking of bad beers on the shelf n Houston... got some of these for 2morrows crawfish boil. Im sure they are fantasticly bad, but a 4pk was on sale at Specs so I had to try. Should be hot as heck n BR 2morro for the boil. #fruityhydration
