FBD 2014 pumpkinator. Enjoying it fresh this year, more so than last years.

Speaking of, I have a 12' and 13' in the cellar, what's the threshold to cellaring one? I was thinking of popping the 12' next week.

I am questioning my decision to age St Arnolds beers because of their twist on caps. Have several of them aging.

I popped a 2014 for the first time today and agree. I really liked 2012. I did not enjoy 2013, it was way too sweet. 2014 seemed to have more spice and less sweetness. I have a few 2013's to drink so we'll see if they got any better with age.

If you mark the cap with soap stone and put a magnet on it you reverse the air action tendencies of the negative ionization factors involved with the elasticity of the vacuum seal.

FDD was a Rita at del fuego. First visit sucked arse. This one was much better; 3 1/2 stars. Will give them another shot.

Eta: rolling rock in the pic was our water. They have some great glassware there.

First beer of the week and first since the new baby. Really good, especially as it warms.

SBD:

for those discussing aged pumpkinator, I opened a 2013 a couple of weeks back as thought it aged well. I also have a 2012 that i might do a vertical with tomorrow evening with.
