I've enjoyed it. Really easy drinking. Nice low hop finish. Nothing to go out of your way for, but it definitely surpassed my expectations for a kolsch.

Really looking forward to the gose next month.

From the bottle: "This ale is our spin on horchata, a sweet & creamy drink originating in Latin America, now quite popular in Southern California."

So you're one of those guys that gets butthurt over fusion cuisines too, aren't you? Do you leave the last piece of the sushi roll on the plate? Lighten up, Francis. It's supposed to be fun.

ETA: About to start episode 3 of this season's Game of Thrones and it's damn good.

From the bottle

a drink originating from Latin America

it´s a fricking Egyptian drink which the Romans brought to Europe, is made in France and Italy, and Spain´s is the most famous (made with tiger nut).

I really enjoyed the grapefruit Sculpin at Elymr the other day (after some Orpheus action). ´Twas funny seeing hipsters ordering PBR and Coors Banquet (not coors, but coors banquet, mind you).

You're way too invested in this

FWIW, I've never had horchata at an Egyptian restaurant, only Hispanic restaurants, so I dispute your claims. Like anything else, it's not who invents something, it's who popularizes it that gets credit. I mean, Al Gore invented the internet. Duh. Everyone knows that.

Watch it bro. You're on thin ice. We have a Coors employee in this thread

I´ll be careful.

Seriously, horchata is a Spanish hot weather libation.

The reason I got upset is because Californians for the most part are well versed, and that blew my mind.

Must be the Fatcat IPA and pizza....

Don't be too careful, sometimes the banter makes it fun.

Ancient Egypt. I´m sure these horrible yoghourt based drinks all around North Africa and the Persian Gulf come from it, as well.

My interest in this collab aside, let's just talk about this labeling/marketing. Volume One, so it automatically says to me, "Hey this is a set"? That beautiful, LA background? I'll buy every one of these and keep the bottles just because of how they look. GOAT Raft does it again

ETA: Beer ain't bad either. Nice little hoppy presence, perhaps more than a traditional kolsch. Seems like they like to do that.

Terrible. There were at least 3 accidents with fatalities today in the metro area.
