Has anybody tried that Stone Mocha IPA? Sounds kinda flaky, but Stone usually puts out good IPAs. I'll probably sample it later today and let y'all know...

Got one in the fridge that I'm gonna sample this weekend. A friend brought that and some Ballast Point back from a trip in San Diego last week. Looking forward to trying it. I asked if it was anything like Dr. Hoptagon, but they said not at all. I'm definitely intrigued.

First time trying this one. A bit disappointed in it, though I guess I had too high of expectations. Not a bad IPA. Still nice for Louisiana to have more options.

Samples it. Interesting. It wasn't dark - it looked like a light amber IPA. The nose was pure alcohol, to me. I didn't get much mocha. I did taste the mocha, but it was very subtle, and didn't overpower the hops. Not bad, but not something I would seek out. This is on draft.
With that, I ordered a Melvin Hop Shocker. Definitely better than a number of beers on that list...
