Blue bell cookies and cream or vanilla is awesome
However in north texas and Oklahoma there is a chain called braums that sells homemade ice cream and last week went for the first time in years. Had the pecan chocolate fudge and holy batman that was good

To everyone saying Blue Bell:
Here is why I won't buy Blue Bell ice cream:
"I remember our old country home. Clean fresh air and flowers growing in the fields, along the path, behind our swimming hole. Momma holaring through the screen. "Would you kids like some homemade ice cream?" That was such a simpler time and place. Blue Bell tastes just like.... The good ole days."

I just don't like all the damn gums that Blue Bell uses in their ice cream... cellulose gum, vegetable gums (guar, carrageenan, carb bean)

I love Blue Bell and it is the only brand of ice cream I buy. But man do I hate that song. Especially the part above. It may piss me off more because when I was growing up "the kids" knew when the hell we were having homemade ice cream because we were the ones who cranked the handle to make it.

Ben and Jerry's is great, but if I had to pick one, I'd probably go Bluebell Homemade vanilla.

This is true! I don't think Momma was hollering "come and get it". When the kids hollered back "YEAH", she was just gonna say "then you sit your arse on this ice cream freezer and you turn the crank til its done".
