My wife and I liked their sushi for the price. Went for lunch today and a sign on the door said they're closed for good.

Yes, I like buffet sushi. The only time I got sick on sushi was when I ate escolar. I'm one of those people who can't tolerate it. I don't eat any raw white fish anymore, and I don't get explosive bathroom scenes anymore.
On a buffet, you get a wide variety of types and East Buffet, like Oki Nago before it, was reasonably priced.

I worked at a company where all the retirees would meet there for lunch on the first Tuesday of the month...I would meet up there with old co-workers for lunch. I wouldn't touch the sushi but I never did get sick from the other food.
The last time I went there was a young lady with huge boobs and no bra..She went to the bathroom and we waited for her to come out to get the last look. They were swinging.

The non-sushi food there was of little interest to me. The hot and sour soup was good and that is a favorite of mine. So I'd eat a plate of sushi and a bowl of soup.
I think the sushi chef(s) from Oki Nago wound up there. Oki Nago sushi was legit, not like typical buffet sushi and that carried over to the new place.

Wow. That's a lot of violations for one day. Mist likely a pattern.
California has letter grades for restaurants, which have to be posted conspicuously. If you don't have an A rating, everyone knows about it. Good incentive for restaurants to keeps it clean.
This would have probably graded out to a D-.
