Yeah, that's a better option but a lot of people like to use the blue rhino type bottles out of convenience

Does anyone know anything about the pot they are selling at Costco right now? I don't recall the brand.

Truth be told, a stock pot is a stock pot

Sure you can pay more for a thicker one, or a stainless one, etc, but it's basically a vessel to boil some water

I wouldn't get caught up in quality too much unless I was using it every weekend

So would buying the pot separate from one of these burners suffice? What's wrong with the banjo burner in the OP?

I am also about to purchase a setup. I just feel untrustworthy about buying it from the academy.

Is there a better place I can actually go in BR to buy a better quality setup but don't want to drop that much into it. I was shooting for 300.00 but I have no clue if that is enough or not

If my propane tank is not 100% full when I start on crawfish , then it will freeze at some point. I just go to the Uhaul store and fill it. It's on the way home so not a big deal for me.

I agree the cajun rocket pot 120 qt. is what I have and a double jet banjo with 40 lb regulator. Set up on a dual tank system I built. I never have to turn it off to switch tanks shes boiling in 8 minutes. If one tank starts freezing I just switch to the other.

So would this burner be sufficient for a 100qt pot?
