Ro doing work

We got pickup from Ye Olde College Inn this time last year. Cool vibe with the Christmas lights. I split a fried green tomato shrimp remoulade poboy and a oyster havarti and bacon poboy. Both were great and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I've actually never been over there. I used to hear pretty bad or mediocre thoughts about the place, but recently - like yourself - people have really been giving it some nice marks. New chef must be in there and doing things well. I'm going to give it a go soon.

Ye Olde is pretty good. Has the old New Orleans dishes, just done competently and better than most spots. Plus they have a lighter touch than most neighborhood joints, and run some nice specials.

Yeah it was solid that night. Guy I was with knew one of the owners (former lsu baseball player I think) who bs'd with us while we had a beer and waited for our food. Like I said, I enjoyed the vibe.
