Friends in the food truck krewe told me months ago they shut down/were about to shut down.
I don't know anything other than rumors, but apparently they had a ton of employees they were paying to work on the truck .. on top of a bunch of other costs.. it was just no profit for them.

I heard a couple months ago he was looking to open a brick and mortar store. I hope it comes through.

Noooo no no no
Paying employees to work. More than they needed. Several cooks, several window people, etc.
As I said, this is just what I HEARD and may have no truth to it. But apparently they were paying for a lot more extra help/stuff than the other food trucks do.

I know they were having tons of problems with the truck. Guy I know quit after he was driving down Government and the brakes went out and he nearly hit a school bus. It was the last straw in many headaches involving mechanical issues with the truck.
