Dante's Kitchen New Orleans Reviews, Suggestions?

Thinking about going there tonight. I tried to go a while back but they had a gas leak in the kitchen so they were closed. What is the F&D board's opinion of this place?

I go there a good bit and like it. I think it is better tjan the place across the street - FWIW IMHO & ESPN

Its definitely not better than Brigsten's...
But I do like Dante's a good bit.

Chicken Under a Brick, then go outside and get slobknockered on Liquid Prozac if they're still making them.

The aforementioned Chicken Under a Brick, the scallops are the best I've had in the city, and it is one of the few restaurants where I might suggest a vegetable plate for the table to share.

The Brick Chicken was frickin awesome. You'll get cornbread too, man that is some good cornbread. Go hungry.

Not so sure about that ... I go to both places 4 or 5 times a month and think its better. The insane love that brigsten's gets is amazing to me..
