What are my material options for a new handle? Best wood to use?
He said he would get a friend of his to put a new handle on it.
It's a Wusthof Classic 10-Inch Wide Cook's Knife

Contact Wusthof. Send it to them to repair.

Do that, but still make dad fashion a replacement handle as a punishment. Redwood or sequoia is the best wood.
