I've learned that crockpot meats turn out better if you actually shave off cooking time.

Joe Simmer has a bunch of crockpot recipes that are good.

There's a chicken tortilla soup recipe in it that you and Aubrey would like. Y'all could make it together this afternoon.

I've always found crock pot meat to be tender but dry, chicken especially. That is why I have switched to a pressure cooker. The meat falls apart and stays incredibly moist, plus I can throw it together when I get home instead of having to do it in the morning and it cooks in less than an hour. I use mine 2-3 times a week. It also can work as a crockpot so there is that.
