Crawfish boil question

Sorry, but I don't have time to wait on a response from the slower moving food board.
I'm up in the northeast and one of my yankee friends is having a crawfish boil today. I thought he knew what he was doing, but apparently everyone thought I was going to run the show since I'm from the south. I've never done this myself. So here's my question - I got both the Zatarain's crab boil bags and the concentrated crab boil liquid. Should I use both, or just one or the other? If both, what's the proportions?
We have 10 lbs of pre cooked crawfish for a few people (I know it's supposed to be live, but again, I just got brought into this last minute). Any advice is appreciated.

You want to boil 10lbs of pre cooked crawfish?

So are you just re-boiling already cooked crawfish to heat it & hopefully add some spice to it?

This isn't going to turn out good at all

Steam them if we can, or maybe just toss them in at the end and let them soak in the warm mix. Are precooked already spiced?

Both of those methods need salt. Never messed with precook end though. Glad I could help.

So are you boiling a sack? Or trying to season the pre-cooked 10lbs?

How big are the bags and how many?
In any case, you can't just use the liquid. It'll come out tasting like hot feet if you don't have the salt from the bags.

Probably going to be gross no matter what proportions you use.

I want to definitely season them if they aren't already seasoned, and I also want the seasoned corn, sausage, and potatoes. Should I just steam the crawfish and boil up the other stuff? How do you season precooked crawfish if they aren't already seasoned?

For 10 lbs 3 gallons boiling water (enough to cover), 1/4 cup liquid crab boil, one of the bags. Find some cayenne pepper. 2 table spoons for mild spice. 5 table spoons for runny nose spicy. They are going to be tough to get out of the shell because they are already cooked. Get water and spices boiling. Cut off fire, then drop in cooked Crawfish. Let soak for 30 min. Good luck.

Make sure you have plenty of corn, potatoes, mushrooms, garlic, and sausage on standby

I don't know man. Were they boiled or steamed already? And from where? I assume the crawfish are still in tact, or is it just the tail meat?
Sounds like your friends threw you to the wolves. 10 lbs of unpeeled crawfish will not go very far.

seriously, just blame them for buying precooked. Say they've already ruined it etc. That'll help save face.
Boil some water, add salt, crab boil, zats, cayenne pepper, garlic and onion powder. Everything you can to mask your inexperience. Boil for 5 minutes.
Hope this is in shells and not just tail meat.
