I am picking up 3 sacks of crawfish tomorrow that I'm boiling on Sunday. Suggestions on keeping them alive? I don't have 3 ice chests to put 3 sacks in.

The best way to keep them alive is a cold ice chest and don't let the crawfish sit in melted ice water. If you don't have 3 ice chests I'd borrow or buy another one.

Crawfish are nature's most resilient creatures.
Ice chest, ice, drain open.
You'll be fine.

go buy 3 ice chests

put a layer of ice on the bottom of an ice chest covered with a garbage bag to keep the direct cold from coming in contact with the crawfish.

Elevate the ice chest on one end and open the drain, close the lid

you just dont want them sitting in water

Got a second refrigerator? Take out 2 or 3 of the shelves, stack crawfish sacks one on top the other. Viola!

One small trick I do when placing in an ice chest is to put a couple of 2 by 4's on bottom. add ice and place sack on top of boards tilt and pull plug. It keep them out of the water.

Lay sacks next to each other in your garage or carport. Cover with wet towels. Drop 20lb bag of ice on top. With it being so cool today they'll be fine. Probably don't even need the ice. Just keep them out of the sun.

I've bought crawfish on a Thursday (that were caught on a Wednesday), driven 8hrs to my camp in Texas in the hot summer, and stored at the camp until a Saturday, with no major casualties

do what they are telling you above and you'll be fine
put some wood in the bottom of the chest, then the sack of crawfish with a bag of ice on top
poke some holes in the ice bag so melt water can drain down, open the ice chest drain and crack the lid. just check on the ice every day or so
