Loosa Brews has a great selection as well. I hit it up just about every time I'm in town.
Need to try Cravings next time. Is it just a package store, or a bottle shop/bar combo?

Some not so great advice on the first page. If I were you Id look for beers produced by breweries that do everything pretty well and pick up something different until you find what you like.
Examples of such are Bells, Oskar Blues, Founders. Local for you is Good People which produces great beer in different styles.

Isn't there a 6% cap on ABV with beer in Alabama? Here in Georgia, the cap is 14% ABV so we have a little more selection. I don't really pay attention to the ABV.
