Are there any craft beer stores in Gulf Shores area that have a decent selection of beers that are difficult to get here? We are heading there in June so I wanted to see what you guys recommend.

Maggie's Bottle and Tail, the Piggly Wiggly in Foley.

Rouses is your best bet in Gulf Shores. Maggie's in OB. Also check out Flora Bama package store because they can get Florida beers we can't get in Alabama.

Just stop at Cottage Hill Package Store in Mobile on the way and stock up there. It's well worth the detour. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach selection can be hit or miss.

Maggie's has pretty much everything broken into single bottles, which has nice for trying out of distro stuff without having to buy six packs.

As well as pre-sunlight aged for you.

This in itself is sad.
Blalocks on 59 used to have a good wine and craft oil selection. I wonder if they are selling beer now?
I'm thinking your best bet may be to stop in Mobile on your way.

I was sort of surprised to see the decent selection they had at okay prices.

Check the dates though. I bought some stuff their last summer and got back to the condo to notice some old dates.

There's a Chan's Wine World location in Watercolor, but the times I've been, selection has been pretty lacking. I'd just swing by the Chan's in Destin on the way in.

Thanks. Going I-10/Dafuniak so won't go thru Destin. We'll check the Chans in WC.

B's right. The Chan's in wc is very small. It's worth the trip to the one @ grand boulevard. There's also craft bar in grayton where you can get crowlers that are great for the beach
