I look for alot of restaurants to start going up on prices due to the oil spill. A buddy and I went to George's for lunch the other day, I ordered a Shrimp Po-boy, small fry, and tea for $16...So, I think ole George has already gone up in preparation...

Totally agree with ya Will...the shrimp had no taste at all, horrible po-boy. Don't think I will dart the doors of George's for awhile...

I've been to George's several times. Meh. Nothing special and I found it to be too pricey for the food I was served.

I find the staff at Georges to be rather unfriendly. They have bad po-boys. My wife likes their burgers, but they are always overcooked. I live right there, and never go anymore.

Georges sucks so bad it wouldnt suprise me if they buy Asian shrimp and raised the prices due to the oil spill.

Ditto.

Considering you write your order down, and have to get up to get your food and get more drinks it should be cheaper. I think they are overpriced The drinks aren't cheap. It baffles me that they are always on the lists of best po-boys and burgers.

Just like any other product, they will use this as an excuse to raise prices everywhere even before the full effect is actually in place.

Then once everything is fine and dandy again, the price will remain high.
