Clash of the Cooks jambalaya cookoff on campus

Clash of the Cooks Jambalaya cookoff on campus next Saturday from 10:30-2:00. Charity event to help local families battling cancer. There will be local band performing, snowballs for kids.
$30 for ticket to sample all the jambalaya and (4) beers
$15 for ticket to sample all the jambalaya
There will be beers from Bayou Teche, Tin Roof, Abita, Southern Craft, Gnarly Barley, Great Raft, Chafunkta

How many teams competed last year? How many are projected for this year? I'm tired of signing up for these and showing up to only 10 teams competing.

There were 20-21 teams last year
There are currently 18 teams so far for this year

Damn I forgot to register before it went up, $175 plus another $200 for ingredients is a lot when it's just you and a buddy

Last year, a typical chicken and sausage won but man they had some creative people out there for sure.

I use 3 types of tomatoes...stewed, rotel, and tomato paste.
