Looking for some quick, good, spicy Chinese food in this area (Bluebonnet/Perkins). How is this place? What's the best item on the menu?

Is that the place in the shopping center between Matherene's and Office Depot/Office Max?
I've been there a couple of times. It's OK. It's a Chinese place in a shopping mall. I usually get the same shite - Lo Mein with some sort of spicy chicken.

You could go to Omi, which is really damn good and close by at Essen and I-10. Or you could go a little cheaper and hit the place in that shopping center at Bluebonnet and Airline - think it's called China One. It's by a Subway.

This is my favorite non-Omi Chinese in BR.

It is a typical Chinese to-go place. You can get the same thing at 100 places around town. I do love their wontons, they serve the crispy version rather than the chewy triangles. Their sweet and sour sauce is damn good, too, they must have a family recipe they use or something. Otherwise, everything is frozen and bought from the same place supplying most Chinese "restaurants." I will give credit to their lunch line, though. It used to be cheap as hell back in the day, under $5, but it has gone up and isn't such a deal any more. Still nice to get some different things.

I eat there about once a week for their quick service lunch. They have a lot of items premade to choose from. I usually get half rice/half noodles, sesame chicken, and spicy Singapore chicken. With a drink it is 6.75. I add an egg roll or two crabmeat wontons to get it above their $8 minimum credit card charge.

I got the spicy Singapore chicken. It hit the spot. Not amazing or anything, but I'd definitely go back.

I get the Singapore Chicken when I got to Nina Dragon. Also the Amazing Chicken. No idea what "Amazing Chicken" is made with though

Yeah, main reason I go often is how quickly I can get in and out of there. From what the lady said, they make their egg rolls from scratch. I like them because they're not cabbage overload.

How's the Chinese place in the Winn-Dixie shopping center at Perkins and Siegen?

The short lady that works there is funny as hell sometimes.
