Rice field crawfishermen are getting $2.75 a pound, the buyers jack up the price as soon as he gets his hands on them. Too early in the spillway.

The OB in Baton Rouge could probably suck up a number of sacks with a group buy ~$2.25-$2.50...

The Price to the fisherman is 2.25lb right now. Typical mark up for the guy hauling the crawfish is .50 cent a lb. Cheapest place to buy retail crawfish between Slidell is from any of the people in Hammond they tend to be cheaper than anybody during the season.

Still too early IMO. How about getting a sack of oysters?
