Lots of good places.

St. John's restaurant for high end dining
Aretha Frankenstiens for breakfast
Tupelo Honey is good
Urban Stack for Burgers
Public House is a cool bar with good apps

This is just a few of what I have enjoyed. There are a lot more.

Where to start.
Champy's is a beer and fried chicken joint that was started by a katrina transplant. Best fried chicken in town.

Taco Mamacita is a neat place with funky tacos

The Feed Co. has awesome food. (I may be a little biased. They cooked for a charity event for us and knocked it out of the park)

Hutton and Smith is the best brewery in town

Chattanooga whiskey has a cool little distillery you can tour and do a whiskey tasting

Aretha Frankensteins is a great breakfast spot but it's tiny tiny and the wait gets absurd
