Can you cook pork ribs in foil on gas grill?

I am thinking of using the grill instead of slow cooker this weekend.
Can I double the foil flip them over every 15/20 minutes or whatever to help even the heat on them.

Turn one side of grill on, leave other side off, and place ribs on side that's off.

Absolutely, it is a great way to, steam them, don't worry about flipping, just keep the heat at about 225

wrap in parchment first to prevent foil damage. You don't want the foil breaking down into the meat

In addition to this, never leave stuff cooked in foil in the foil after it's cooled.
