Cabbage with Smoked Turkey necks

Turkey necks from Kartchner's Grocery in Krotz Springs

Sauteed a little onion and garlic with em

Added Chicken Stock and boiled until necks started falling apart

Added Cabbage and cooked until tender



also to note...no seasoning necessary, necks from kartchners have plenty on them

Nice. I like using either turkey necks or smoked hocks. I'd tear that up

Had a boiled turkey neck last week at Montalbanos. Not a bad way to spend $2.49.

I love turkey necks. One of the meals my Wife trapped me with is smothered turkey necks with rice.

No complaints about it either.
