the few places i saw them were a total ripoff. There is this shady looking hardware store on Jefferson going towards Harahan that used to have them in the window that might be affordable....but can't remember the name.

I would always use hookups i had through hard core coonass friends in ville platte.

Caire Restuarant Supply off of Bienville on Bernadette Street in the city. Lotz on River Road, just upriver from the Huey Long Bridge. Wholesale prices to the public. I have bought a lot of stuff from Lotz and the pricing is about 35% less than at a hardware store. Great selection of pots, pans and tools.

Lotz has cast iron?

Used to work back in the Elmwood warehouses and drove by that place every day.

I think so. Their clientele is mostly restuarants and caterers. I would think they would have it. I might drive down there and check.

5 pounder?

Thought pots were measured by how many quarts they can hold

Baldwin-Taylor Hardware in the 4300 block of Jeff Hwy. in Jefferson. Really good products and great prices. I recently saw a 5 gal. cast iron pot with cover and a few accessories for $99.00.
FWIW.

krazykajun

I got my rig from this guy (20 gal roll combo). His prices may be a little high, but if you drive to his place in St. Amant with Cash they will deal. I saved about $150 doing that.
