Planning a weekend in New Orleans and the lady is potentially interested in catching a burlesque/cabaret show. Any bars or restaurants in town put on a good show?

Allways Lounge on St. Claude usually has a burlesque act on the weekends. Be forewarned - its definietly a hipster frequented place.

This Saturday night is a real nice one at the CAC I believe. Called Burlesque and Bourbon or something like that.

I like the free burlesque show at midnight on Fridays at Irvin Mayfield's Jazz Playhouse in the Royal Sonesta.
