For anyone who has gone out for BR Restaurant Week this week, what was your experience like? In past years some places have gone all out, and some places just recycle portions of their menu that just aren't very good.

We did the new Portico on Perkins where Marcello's used to be earlier in the week, and it was very underwhelming. Service was awful, they brought our entire table's checks before the dessert course ever arrived, and our blueberry bread pudding was just blueberry bread - no sauce/pudding. We should have taken the hint by the checks coming out first and bolted before dessert ever arrived.

Thinking about Beausoleil, Fleming's, or Portabello's tonight... hopefully one of them impresses a bit more than Portico.

Did Beausoleil and it was good as always. Had Ceviche, Prime Rib and Bread Pudding I think.

Hit up Nino's. Just finished dining there tonight and it was so good.

We were going to go to Beausoilel last night. I called Friday morning and they said they were booked up for reservations, but they said I could show up and wait a little bit. Got there before 7 and it was packed -- no seats for the night. We ended up at Doe's, which was fine as always. We like Beausoilel, I just wish they would have been straight with me when I called.

Did Bin 77 on Wednesday with a group of 6. Thought it had the most adventurous menu. Everything was good not great. Did Beausolie last night. Good as always

did sullivans and the wife did the restaurant week menu, kale salad, filet, and creme brulee, loved it.

i wish that it was advertised more/earlier and that it was longer. i didn't know about it until saturday and with kids, we are lucky to be able to eat out once a week. a month long deal would be better imho.

Doubt very seriously they lied to you. Person on the phone probably just didn't know.

Oh I also doubt that I was lied to. I think you're right, the person answering the phone just didn't know what they were talking about.

Don't judge my selections, poor college student, but:

La Caretta - losers (really bad tacos, everything else was great though)

Copelands - losers (blows my mind that servers don't know to bring entree after appetizers are completely done, food was okay)

Damn I cant wait till I'm making money. Really wanted to try some of the better restaurants
