Looking for somewhere to grab dinner with another couple. Need to be able to make a reservation bc it is the Friday before the Bama game, and u don't want to wait 2 hours or have to get there @4pm.

I haven't been to Beausoleil in a bit so I think I might go there during the game. It will be a good time to go and since my kid has my tickets I happen to be free just then.

Did you just suggest the cabin? LOL
And Houmas house might be pretty good, but it's not exactly Baton Rouge

While good, is a long way from BR.
Ruffino's is always a solid choice depending on your price range.

I keep hearing Gouter come up, may give that a try. Or Beausoleil, I haven't tried that either.

Nottoway Plantation is our go-to dinner spot before a game. If the weather is nice, the patio is kick arse. Food is awesome and the service is polished - here is their dinner menu. Would highly recommend.

I would go to Beausoleil before Gouter. Both are good though

Not getting in ruffinos right now the night before bama. You can try... but it's highly unlikely unless you go at 4 or something.
We do ruffinos the night before the biggest home game every year. Made our reservations I think in august for bama. Problem is all the espn people and other celebs/athletes come to eat there when they come into town for the game. Probably gonna be nuts due to they hype of the game.

It's a great atmosphere if you can get in. Ruffin has that place bumpin for it.
