I'll be there for their all weekend and have tonight and Sunday night open. Any suggestions? Not picky at all. Been to all the main steakhouses so looking for something different.

There is a place in Brookline called The Abbey. Nice little place for dinner. Go there.

Or go to Harvard square and John Harvard's Brew House. Love that place.

Or for something really different, try Shabu Zen in Brighton.

Actually, a couple other good Brookline (green line; c train, I think) spots: Ribielle (I think is how you spell it) and Barcelona (tapas). Ribielle has this pasta with squid ink that is one of the best things I've ever eaten.

Harvest and Henrietta's table in Harvard square. Strega on the waterfront. There is a Legal test kitchen place in Southie on the waterfront or whatever.

Empire Chinese right next to Strega. Both of those places tend to have smokin hot waitresses and bartenders, if you're into that.

Great and thanks for the suggestions. Will look into all of them. Staying at the Marriot in Copley.

Ribielle sounds good. I always get the squid ink pasta at Dominica.

I never go eat over there, except for Sweet Green and b.good (both of which I highly recommend for fast food).

Lamorra in Brookline might be good for a Tom Brady spotting.

I really enjoyed Lord Hobo in Cambridge, good food and great beer selection.

Aw shite, now I'm nervous you'll be like wtf is this shite. It's a really small place. Read about it online so I don't feel bad if you don't have a good experience.

I did. Looks good and somewhat casual which is what we're in the mood for tonight since we will just be flying in. Free night without entertaining people so it will be nice to relax and looks like a great place to do so. Great reviews and and nice cocktail menu. Looks perfect.

Awesome. Let me know how you like it. The salted cod fritters are great, and I like the bison bolognese.

If you are coffee snobbish, there is a place called cafe fixe across the street that is very serious about coffee. And Emack and Bolio's down the street is ice cream and candy.

And take a look at Athan's on the corner of Washington and Beacon is good for after dinner treats.

And for drinks, hit up the Washington Square tavern across the street from Athan's.

A couple can have a nice quiet evening in Washington Sq. in Brookline. Nice and easy.

The Daily Catch on Hanover St. in the North End for seafood. It's a tiny place and you'll sit with strangers.

I've always LOVED Boston Beer Works (now just called "Beer Works"). The original is on Brookline Ave. across from Fenway. The one by North Station on/near Canal St. is legit. Sit at the bar, chat them up, tell 'em you're from out of town and they may comp you a brew.

Great little place. Meant with the cod fritters, lamb lollipops, and the baked Brie to start. Then split the trout. They also make a great old fashioned. Really cool atmosphere. Exactly what the wife and I were looking for out of the night.
