Anyone have any rec for a place to eat in Boston? I plan on eating at the Neptune Oyster but wanted another place or tow on the local funkier side. Also, does anyone know of any Bostonain type bars? (old school)

TIA

Giacomo's in the North End. They dont take reservations, its a small place, and theres no waiting list. You have to wait outside in line so get there early. It was awesome

Neptune is also very good.

After you eat there, walk to Mikes Pastry or Modern Pasty for a Cannoli

Toro. Amazing Spanish Food and a funky neighborhood vibe.

I ate at Neptune in September. It was great. The line was down the street 30 minutes before they opened up for lunch.
I loved that North End as well. There are plenty of good small restaurants in that area for Italian food. Cambridge has some cool bars.

Have fun and report back.

Neptune is a home run every time. Bukowski was a nice happy hour as well.

Boston is an amazing city, it's tough to have a bad experience. Report back.

I can;t remember the Italian restaurants in the Northend. You'll have to do a little more research there.
