Follow them on instagram, but never been. Looks like a chill spot. Can be a mix of all types of moods there looks like.

Anyone have any feedback, what to eat/drink/expect..let me know.

Also any other recs. Looking to maybe go check a spot or 2 out tonight in BR.

TIA!

Went about a month ago, and we decided to sample a bunch of the small plates. Everything we had was excellent. The cocktails were solid as well

Yep. Sometimes hard to get in, but still worth it. This gross weather might also work in your favor.

The concert across the street tonight is sold out and people often like to hit up Bldg5 beforehand.. but the show starts at 7:30 so if you’re up for a later dinner, you’ll probably be golden.

Beauvoir Park.

I guess I should say under the street since you take that little pathway under the street instead of over

Beauvoir Park does concerts Thursdays through Sundays. Since this show is sold out and I think the owner of BP has affiliation with Bldg5 (could be wrong there), it could have some pre-concert diners. But I really wouldn’t let that stop me. Bldg5 is busy every night of the week. It’s because it is good.

I kind of thought it was just okay.

Drinks were good but not great

Crab cake starter/appetizer was fantastic!!!

Protein plate was meh, but my wife loved her beet salad

Outside area is nice, inside is loud AF

Not mad we went, but I'd vote to try a different place before re-visiting there

To be fair, that's only 3 food items from a fairly large menu and 2/3 you said were great.

I agree with the protein plate being one of the weaker items on the menu. We weren't thrilled with it either.

The meatballs are the best I've had. They've changed the dips on the Vasi menu a few times, but the bacon and brie is good. Chicken Karaage appetizer is pretty great, considering it is a style of chicken tenders. Crab cakes are awesome.

The Little Italy is my favorite of the boards, and it has those meatballs I mentioned included.

Of their sandwiches, the Short Rib Smash is definitely my favorite. The short rib is rich, and they load it with melted cheese.
