Best wing sauce?

Back in November of last year we went to Louisiana for a week. During the week it was decided to do wings. We had about 8 adults and a few children.
Since no one had done wings before we used another friends instructions to bake, Flip and bake, flip and sauce and flip and sauce once again to make sure the sauce congealed on the wings.
We also wanted to use different sauces to see which one we liked the best.
Frank's Red Hot won the day. It has the traditional buffalo wing sauce taste without being too hot. Everybody was able to eat them and enjoyed the flavor.
The second favorite was Sweet Baby Ray's (for some reason I like typing it almost as much as I enjoy saying it) - "SWEET BABY RAY'S"!!!. You just can't go wrong with barbecue sauce on chicken. It had good BBQ flavor and again was not too hot - Heat was a big consideration for a few in the group besides the kids.
The third place finisher in our taste test was Hooter's medium wing sauce. It was a big disappointment for me at the time. It does not taste anything like traditional wing sauce. It has a buttery taste - which isn't horrible, but coming from Hooter's I was expecting some type of buffalo taste. I think there are ways to get this flavor on wings for much cheaper than purchasing this sauce.
I checked the expiration date a few times after opening the jar because it is just a glob of yellowish-orange gloop. It is kind of cool when brushing on hot wings because it just disappears - it melts much quicker than butter. If you want something different for wings other than Frank's or Sweet Baby Ray's and love a buttery taste you may like this. It finished third in our test because it wan't hot and we only had four sauces to test.
The fourth place finisher in our taste test was Louisiana Wing Sauce. I thought the flavor was great like Frank's but DAMN, I had to eat three non-hot wings after eating one with this sauce to try and get my mouth back to normal. It is "H - OH - TEE" - HOT !!! and I had been saucing myself as much or more than the wings with a different kind of spirit. It was sleeper hot - it didn't really hit you until you were completely finished with a wing and then BAM !!! And we got the medium heat level. The taste was there and very good and if you like REALLY HOT stuff this may be the wing sauce for you.

I haven't had all of those but agree that LA is too hot

Try making your own sometimes. Stick of melted butter or margarine, 1 cup hot sauce(I prefer Crystal) and a few TBS BBQ sauce.

I think its better to make your own. Its really easy and tastes better than the jarred stuff.
Franks hot sauce is my go to as the hot sauce to use

For some reason after reading the above I now have a uncontrollable urge to punch you in the throat.

Crystal or Franks plus butter. So easy to make your own.

Not surprising. I used to make my own with hot sauce, butter, and a pinch of vinegar until I tried Franks Wings Sauce. Now I just use that. It's great!
