I usually go to 1921 but I was thinking about mixing it up. Don't feel like shucking myself though. Let me know what some of yalls favorite places are, TIA

None that I know of, plenty of huge crabs and shrimp though

No doubt, we picked up forty pound of shrimp the other day and they were gorgeous. I also intend to prolly eat some crabs as well tonight. And to 4LSU, my pops would tell me the same but that's really a dated rule due to the advent of a little thing called temperature control :) I am slightly worried about all this bacteria stuff in the gulf. That hasn't been affecting the seafood has it?

No but if you find oysters that are bigger than a nickel down here they aren't from here

I'm not carrying them until the quality picks back up. No one is buying due to the heat and they were just sitting their until I had to toss them. Big Al has even made some adjustments because he couldn't sell but a couple dozen a day.
